canker sores, cold sores, etc.) on the face, lips and genitals with a mysterious virus. But let’s look at this problem strictly from a structural point of view, regardless of whether the virus theory is applicable.

Herpes Sores (Mouth Sores, Canker Sores) in a nutshellHerpes sores form on tissues that are subjected to great stress, physically speaking, including the mouth, vagina, penis and lips. These sensitive areas, especially when very sexually active, are prone to damage by means of rubbing, friction, and irritation of the skin cells.
The Merck Manual of Diagnostics and Therapy (16th Edition, p. 2477) states, “Mild trauma such as that associated with dental treatment, abrasion of the vermilion border, sunburn, food allergy, anxiety, onset of menstruation or any disease that produces a fever or an increased metabolic rate may precipitate lesions.”
The herpes sore is affected by a lack of ionizable calcium (see Calcium Support) combined with stress (physical and/or emotional) (see Vitamin B Food). Due to this combination, the skin cells split apart because there is a lack of ionizable calcium to keep them cemented together at the desmosomes (spaces between skin cells). Be dilligent with your health and don't let up because it takes about a six months or a year on a good program with the right calcium and nutrients to see lasting results.
